What is the Jura Sports Athletics Academy?
Our Athletics Academy’s mission is to develop young athletes in the Terre Sainte area by learning different athletics disciplines including the three essential movements: running, jumping and throwing, in a fun and secure environment. We will practice sprints, hurdles, javelin, discus, shotput, long jump and many more! Our athletics head coach Jasper is a certified personal trainer and holds a Bachelor and Masters in Sports Science from the Universities of Loughborough and Lausanne.
How long, when and where ?
Sessions are between 60 and 90 minutes long depending on the age group. We meet on Tuesday afternoons at the Founex Sports Centre, between August and October, and between April and July.
Level 1 = 60min
Level 2 = 90min
Term 1 starts week 34 and ends week 41
Term 2 starts week 16 and ends week 25
Level 1 = recommended age 7-10 years old
Level 2 = recommended age 10-13 years old

- Level 2 @ 4.30pm – 6.00pm
